Sidney Opera House

 My next stop is the Sidney Opera House, the most famous landmark of Australia and one of the best-known ones in the entire world. This famous place is packed with things to do, spots to take incredible pictures and amazing views. 

The Sydney Opera House officially opened in 1973 and was created by Danish architect Jørn Utzon who was born in 1918 in Copehagen, Denmark. The Sydney Opera House has been built as a modern structure with some of the most recognisable sails in existence. Five decades after it opened, the Sydney Opera House remains Australia's No.1 tourist destination and one of the busiest performing arts centers in the world and as such it was inscribed on the UNESCO list of the world's outstanding places in 2007.

To get there, there are many ways and forms of transport available nearby. As it is logical, the most used ones by the city’s inhabitants is the car as much as the bus or the subway; but there are some more touristic and original ways of traveling. To start with, there are plenty of ferries and cruises that also include some guides to tell you the history of the opera while sailing, there are also water taxis, but they do not include the tour. Moreover, there are also touristic buses that also include this guides.

To take care of this spot, you will have to pay for the entrance.

In this picture you can see the prices of the tickets depending on the age and the pre-book. As you can see, there will be a change of the prices from the 31st of March on. What are considered as children are between 5 and 15 years, for children under 5 there is no charge at all and must not be left alone. There are also some concessions available for Australian pensioners, full-time students aged +16 and for holders of the Australian Seniors Card. For families, there is also a special price, it includes 2 adults and 2 children(15 years and under). In my case, as my family is a 5-member one but there is not a single member below 15, we would have to buy 5 adult tickets.
