After visiting  the official website of the Taronga Zoo of Sydney and exploring the different sections about tickets, accommodation, and special experiences, I found a lot of interesting information about what you can do there and how much it costs. How much does a group of eight teenagers (14 years old) save if they buy all their tickets online?  (Visit Hours and Rates section)  First of all, the information about the ticket prices: teenagers of 14 years old count as children (between 4 and15 years) and the child ticket costs 33 AUD at the gate and 29.70 AUD online. This means that each teenager saves 3.30 AUD if they buy the ticket online. For a group of eight teenagers, the total saving would 26.40 AUD.  After visiting the Art Gallery of New South Wales I have been thinking about the talent that requires to make or just to think about making a single piece.  Among the different paintings, sculptures and so, one of them drew my attention specially: The New House (1953) by John Brack.  What draws my attention the most is the contrast between the idea of a happy new home and the clearly distanced couple of the painting: they stand in an enlightened, almost empty interior, which creates a feeling of loneliness rather than the warm environment of a home. Brack’s style and colours make the scene feel sad and depressing, yet, he uses warm colouring, highlighting the feelings of the couple. From the gallery, I would highlight how it presents not only breathtaking works but also pieces like this that reveal social meanings of the everyday life.

 I choose Canada as the state of the Commonwealth of Nations. It is a North American country located just above the USA, where there are many famous cities like Toronto. There they live many people from different countries, so it has a great diversity with lots of different traditions. It became independent from the UK very slowly, eventually gaining the independence the 1st of July of 1867. It became a member of the Commonwealth in 1931; the Commonwealth is a group of former countries of the British Empire that now work together to support peace, help, and development between countries. Inside of this nation group a sports event was created: the Commonwealth Games.   These games are celebrated  every four years (like the Olympics) and many different countries participate on them.  My next stop is the Sidney Opera House, the most famous landmark of Australia and one of the best-known ones in the entire world. This famous place is packed with things to do, spots to take incredible pictures and amazing views.  The Sydney Opera House officially opened in 1973 and was created by Danish architect Jørn Utzon who was born in 1918 in Copehagen, Denmark. The Sydney Opera House has been built as a modern structure with some of the most recognisable sails in existence. Five decades after it opened, the Sydney Opera House remains Australia's No.1 tourist destination and one of the busiest performing arts centers in the world and as such it was inscribed on the UNESCO list of the world's outstanding places in 2007. To get there, there are many ways and forms of transport available nearby.  This place is a huge shopping center where there are more than 140 shops. Among all the stores, there is one that I would specifically like to visit: Polo Ralph Lauren Mens. This store is one of the two that are in this center; in this worldwide known brand’s store they sell all kinds of clothing pieces for men(there is also a women’s shop). As I have previously mentioned, in this store the main products are clothes, however, they also sell decoration items for houses like towels, plates, etcetera. But, among all of their products, the one that I’m looking for is the jumper. This is a high quality jumper made of wool and with a round neck; there are two models: the one with a bear in it and the one with the logo. I don’t really mind which of them they have(as long as they have any of them in my size) because I reckon that they are both incredible.  Yet, there is a setback for buying these: the price.
